ImageMr. Hickey has practiced law since 1976. His extensive trial and appellate experience at all levels of Federal and State courts, as well as in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution, includes general commercial, construction, labor and employment, contracts, trademarks, licensing, real estate, corporate and administrative law. Mr. Hickey additionally serves as a mediator for the resolution of disputes in these areas of law in New York and Florida. He has represented a diverse clientele of publicly and privately held companies including retail companies, securities firms, construction, development and engineering companies, insurance companies, publishing companies, colleges and universities, executive recruitment firms and domestic and foreign banks. Apart from his litigation practice, Mr. Hickey devotes considerable time to construction law in the negotiation, drafting and enforcement of master construction contracts and related project documentation; representing companies in their labor and employment affairs; and representing numerous CEOs, Presidents and senior management of various companies in contract negotiations pertaining to executive compensation and benefits. He has written numerous articles and lectured extensively on litigation, labor and employment and construction matters. He has achieved the highest peer review rating (AV) by Martindale-Hubbell in recognition of his professional excellence and highest levels of skill and integrity. Mr. Hickey serves on the Advisory Board of Independent Group Home Living, a charitable organization devoted to the needs of the developmentally disabled.
