Partner (Litigation)

Mr. Johnson’s practice area is general commercial litigation. He has represented clients in a variety of business disputes, including those concerning commercial, contract and employment matters, transaction finance, maritime law and business torts (including securities fraud and breach of fiduciary duty claims). Prior to joining Eaton & Van Winkle, Mr. Johnson acquired broad litigation experience while clerking for the Appellate Division, Third Department, of the New York State Court, perfecting and arguing over forty appeals before the Appellate Divisions of the State Courts, and handling insurance defense cases involving, among other things, professional liability and labor/construction law liability. Admitted to Bar: New York (1995), U.S. District Court, Northern District (1996) and Southern District (2004) of New York.
