Attorneys in the firm's Litigation Group represent an array of clients, ranging from individuals and small, private corporations to multinational, public companies (both foreign and domestic) before Federal and State courts, agencies and arbitration forums throughout the United States and abroad. General commercial litigation constitutes a large portion of our litigation practice and includes contract, securities, partnership, joint venture, labor/employment, construction, real estate, insurance, admiralty, and international matters. With corporate and banking litigation backgrounds, our litigators are experienced in such areas as lender liability, mortgage foreclosure, securities disputes, bankruptcy and creditors' rights, civil RICO and antitrust matters. Our litigators also regularly handle matters involving estate and tax litigation. Eaton & Van Winkle is committed to exploring alternatives to resolving disputes through litigation. Our litigation practitioners have extensive experience in arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. A number of our attorneys serve as court appointed mediators in Federal and State courts. We will continue to respond affirmatively to client needs that may require alternative dispute resolution methods or solutions not available in court.
