Financial Transparency and Disclosure: China Progress on Corporate Governance

Eaton & Van Winkle Partner, Lawrence Steckman’s recent article titled “Financial Transparency and Disclosure: China Progress on Corporate Governance,” which was co-authored with the President and Chairman of the China Trade Institute, was just published by the Journal of International Business Ethics, affiliated with the University of Beijing.

The article, 7 Journal of International Business Ethics 3 (No. 1, 2014), discusses recent empirical data comparing the performance of US and China reverse merger companies, as asset classes, and discusses recent developments in China corporate governance regarding, among other things, shareholder rights, director independence, related party transactions and insider trading.
